PLANET 51 OPENS EXPOTOONS
The movie of the year, from the writers of Shrek and Madagascar 2, Sony Pictures' production PLANET 51 will open Expotoons in its Latin American avant-premiere

Festival of Festivals
This special program includes the participation of four core animation festivals: Selected material from Future Film Festival 2009 (Italy) - The best of Ottawa International Animation Festival '08 y '09 (Canada) - Winners of the 10th PISAF (Korea) - Film selection from Annecy Festival International du Film d'Animation (France).

Animation in France
Exclusively shorts from the collection 'Resolutely Animated', suggested by the France Exterior Audiovisual Direction in collaboration with the Annecy Festival. This program illustrates the creativity of the French production, mixing recognized directors with the newest talents from the best French schools of animation. Supported by CITIA and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of France.

HOMAGE - 70º NFB Anniversary
A special screening program on the animation pioneer Norman McLaren and selected Canadian animation pieces. McLaren has led the way in animation film experimentation, and produced his most renowned works at Canada's National Film Board.

CORALINE
Expotoons program will include the screening of Coraline, the applauded stop-motion animated feature made by Henry Selick (director of The Nightmare before Christmas), awarded with the Annecy Cristal '09 for best feature film.
